Brittany Haas hosts the Fiddle Styles Workshop course on Peghead Nation, in which she is joined by some of the best fiddlers in roots music for in-depth instruction and some great performances. She is a founding member of the progressive acoustic band Hawktail, with Paul Kowert on bass, Jordan Tice on guitar, and Dominic Leslie on mandolin. This video shows a full set from Hawktail, performed at the Back Porch Festival, at the Academy of Music in Northampton, Massachusetts on February 29, 2020, shortly before live shows of all types were shut down. Great performance from virtuoso players and composers.
