Molsky’s Mountain Drifters performed at the annual Wintergrass Festival near Seattle in February, which coincided with the release day of their second album, Closing the Gap.
The band, which is Peghead Nation Old-Time Fiddle and Wade Ward-Style Banjo instructor Bruce Molsky with guitarist Stash Wyslouch and banjo player Allison de Groot, was kind enough to stop by the Peghead Nation table at Wintergrass and play a couple cuts from the new album, including “Grey Eagle,” featured in this video.
